As a minimalist at heart it was an intimidating task to create a brand that could hold so many different patterns while still feeling clean and intentional.  

The lightly organic font choices and a broad color palette that leaned towards the nostalgic allowed me flexibility in my designs. I also panned seasonal colors that were compatible with the main palete to introduce at my work evolved with the seasons.

I started by creating patterns for the #thepatternchallengebymel (a professional surface designer) where each day in august was assigned a word prompt and the community would create a corresponding pattern. I also enjoyed creating Mock Ups of each design to bring the pattern to life.

Even after the challenge Im still enthusiastically exploring the world of patterns.
